Twas the Night Before...........

Well........here we go to finally get back into the "routine" of things. I have rather enjoyed the lack of routine. I am sure from the reading I have done on the blogs that some have a home that is in much better shape than when Friday began. Guess what? Us too! We have used this time to our benefit. I am excited about the "WORD" that I was privileged to hear this weekend and and am looking forward to being with all the many "worshippers" of Life Tabernacle on Wednesday. I know that the weather has put a stop to many people going many places but it will never stop the Lord's desire to be worshipped. I know this is nothing new to any and all of you who flood thru these blogs. I just want to encourage all of us to put this weekend as a special memory of how the Lord will slow our world down and give us that down time we have so desperately needed.

Have a great start of a new week and still bundle up because it will be cold and we may just get some snow and who knows another restful weekend.

God bless you all!
P.S. Just wanted to throw in a picture with the post. hehehehe!!
P.S.S. Monkey see monkey do - one changes their background and we all follow suit, well most of us. I like the change.

I'm glad you all enjoyed the "rest", but PLEASE let's not have ice and snow on the weekend again. You'll have to bury Bro. Elms!

I would like some snow, but I don't know if I can handle not going anywhere for several days again.
P.S. I almost picked the same template. Great minds think alike!

I like youir new look too. i am still working on new url's for mine so I can change background stuff.

And I did enjoy the staying in. It was wonderful... that's not to say I want to have church cancelled. But some snow would be really nice.

*grin*

Yes, it is nice sometimes to be "shut in" with our family. Reading about you all having service with your children brings back memories of when we first started the church here. For the first 6 weeks, it was just us four in the living room. Keith and I had Sunday School with the girls, worship and then the "preaching." Keith always kept it on a lower level for the girls.

Going through some "stuff" not too long ago, we found our first offering that the girls had given. We have kept it in an envelope - it was $2.96. What memories! Sorry, this is so long. I just got to "reminiscing."

I love the long notes. It is amazing what words and pictures will bring back for each of us.
Great to hear from you.
